Ihedioha Visits The Work Party's Just Governor, Otti, In The Wake Of Leaving The PDP
A previous legislative head of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has visited lead representative Alex Otti of Abia State.
It reports that Otti is the main lead representative chosen under the foundation of the Work Party.
In a post through X on Monday morning, Ihedioha shared photos of his visit to Government House, Umuahia.
I am really glad to have met with my respected sibling and companion, Lead Representative @alexottiofr, at his home in Isialangwa. We had a genial conversation, even as I lauded his monster steps in Abia Express," the ex-lead representative composed.
This comes days after Ihedioha surrendered his participation in the People's Progressive Alliance, or PDP.
In his renunciation letter addressed to the PDP director in Mbutu Ward, Aboh Mbaise Nearby Government Region of the Express, the ex-Imo State lead representative referred to a misalignment between his own convictions and the ongoing direction of the fundamental resistance.
He communicated his commitment to the progression of a majority rule system and great administration in the country, regardless of his choice to move back from the PDP.
As per him, having been an individual in the party since its origin in 1998, he has contributed tremendously to the development and advancement of the party.
He nonetheless bemoaned ongoing advancements inside the PDP, expressing that it has strayed from its centre standards.
He voiced worries over the party's failure to order inward changes, maintain its own guidelines, and really go against the decision of the All Reformists Congress, APC.
"Unfortunately, as of late, the party has followed in a way that is inconsistent with my own convictions. In spite of my endeavour to offer guidance, the party is, tragically, as of now not ready to make inside changes, authorise its own standards, or deal believable resistance to the decision of the All Moderates Congress.'
"It is in the radiance of the prior that I am constrained to offer my acquiescence to individuals' leftist alliances taking effect right now.
"While the choice was challenging to take, I, in any case, accept that it is the right one.
