Sule Lamido Chastised Nothern Governors.

When The Northern Governments Visit The US, Lamido Chastises Them, Saying, "You Exposed Your Ignorance."

Sule Lamido, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former governor of Jigawa State, has chastised the Northern governors over their recent visit to the US.

According to Lamido, the Northern governors' visit to the US revealed their lack of familiarity with the Federal Republic of Nigeria's constitution.
Remember that the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) arranged a peace summit, which the Northern Governors attended?

Concerned leaders, our northern governors made the long trip to the United States of America to attend a seminar at the American Institute for Peace titled "Advancing Stability in Northern Nigeria" in an effort to find a sustainable solution, according to Lamido.

a solution to the unsolvable insecurity issues that plague each of their states.

Although their concern was admirable, it ultimately revealed their lack of knowledge about the Federal Republic of Nigeria's Constitution the very document that granted them the right and power to serve as governors.

This may make sense if the governors had come to the US to discuss ways to advance health, agriculture, or any other urgent local issues that were on the Concurrent List of our Constitution.

However, discussing topics like security that are on the Exclusive Legislative List reveals a lot about their underlying beliefs.

Security is an extremely broad topic that their excellencies need to be able to understand. In most cities, there is no portable drinking water available in their states, and parts of the streets are overrun with waste.

"Our children attend elementary schools beneath trees, and in classrooms they sit on the floor to learn, but their Excellencies are unable to see the security implications of this.

By lining up in a scramble to obtain palliatives from patronising and condescending authorities, residents who have been deliberately and harshly forced into poverty by unplanned government actions have lost their sense of worth, dignity, and respect; nonetheless, they are unconcerned about the insecurity of this situation.
