Three French Jail Officials Were Killed In A Prisoner's Getaway.

Three French jail officials were killed and two others injured Tuesday in an assault on a jail van moving a detainee who got away, a police source told AFP. The smashing assault occurred late morning at a street cost in Incarville in the Eure locale of northern France, another source near the case added.

The prisoner was being shipped between the towns of Rouen and Evreux in Normandy. A police source said that the assault was done by a group of a few people who showed up in two vehicles and were late. One of them was likewise injured, a police source said, yet it was not promptly clear the number of assailants there that were altogether.
