EFCC Captures 127 Thought Web Fraudsters At 'Yippee Party' In Akure.

IBADAN - Agents of the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the Monetary and Monetary Violations Commission (EFCC) have captured 127 thought Web fraudsters in Ondo State. The supposed Web fraudsters, as per the official statement endorsed by the Head of Media and Exposure of the EFCC, Mr. Dele Oyewale, were captured in an early-daytime sting activity at a "Yippee Party" held all the while at Mark and Abah Clubs on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Akure, Ondo State.

Dependable knowledge showed that the supposed party was at first planned for Wednesday, June 5, 2024, yet was subsequently moved to Saturday to beat security and insight organisations of the EFCC. The suspects have given valuable data to specialists in the directorate. 

Things recovered from them include ten outlandish vehicles, telephones, workstations, engine cycles, wristwatches, and many implicating archives. They will be charged in court when examinations are finished, the EFCC said.
