Court Prisons 3 Unlawful Agency De CHANGE Administrators In Maiduguri.

Equity K. Dagat of the Government High Court, sitting in Maiduguri, Borno State, has indicted and condemned three unlawful Agency de-Change administrators to one-year detention each. 

The convicts, distinguished as Buba Ahmadu Aliyu, Mohammed Mustapha, and Muhammad Zarami, were captured and summoned by agents of the Monetary and Monetary Violations Commission (EFCC) on a one-count separate charge for working agency de change organisations without a proper permit.

The representative's mark against Aliyu reads, "That you, Buba Ahmadu Aliyu, at some point in May 2024, inside the purview of this Respectable Court, continued other monetary business without permit given by the National Bank of Nigeria as opposed to segments 57 (1) and (2)b and culpable under Area 57 (5) b of the Banks and Other Monetary Foundations Act, 2020.

"Along these lines, the charge against Mustapha peruses: "That you, Mohammed Mustapha, at some point in May 2024, inside the purview of this Noteworthy Court, continued other monetary business without permit given by the National Bank of Nigeria as opposed to Area 57 (1) and (2)b and culpable under 57 (5) b of the Banks and other Monetary Foundations Act, 2020.

"They confessed to the charges when they were perused by them. Equity Dagat, from that point on, indicted and condemned the respondents to one-year detention with a choice of a N100,000 fine each.
