Breaking: Previous President Of Brazil Has Been Sentenced To prison.

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been moved to prison after being sentenced to 27 years for an attempted coup. 

His lawyer and a source close to the case confirmed that he was placed in pre-trial detention on November 22, 2025.


Bolsonaro, who is 70 years old, had been under house arrest since August. His lawyer, Celso Vilardi, stated, “He has been imprisoned, but I don’t know why.” 


Bolsonaro's legal team had previously contended that he should serve his sentence at home due to concerns about his health.
