Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi was born on 28th June 1927 and died on 26th November 2025. His mother was from Gwambe state, also from Bauchi and his father was a great scholar of the Quran. Sheikh Dahiru started studying with his parents until he memorized the Holy Quran with his father when he was nineteen (19) years old.


His father sent him to seek knowledge and he started going from state to state to seek knowledge there until Allah revealed Sheikh Ibrahim and the sheikh joined the journey of Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullahi Inyass, he became the sheikh's disciple and the last teacher of Sheikh Dahiru. 


Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi became a great leader of the Tijaniyya sect until Sheikh Ibrahim told him "go and say everything you say, I say it" Sheikh Dahiru is very proud of this being the disciple of Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass, until he became a great scholar of the great Quran, tafsir and ma'arufa.


Sheikhul Islam Sheik Dahiru Usman Bauchi served the religion immensely, more than the imagination of a thinker, he dedicated his life to the whole of calling people to God and his messenger. What Sheik Dahiru did for Islam is more than just saying what was done. 


It is claimed that the father has many houses in Bauchi state like the sheikh, he owns more than a hundred of them and I do not rent them all, he puts all the students in every beautiful house or its price, he puts the students in it. God has made millions of students It is claimed that no teacher has more students than Sheik Dahiru.


 His father was a Quran reciter, he was also a Quran reciter, 75 out of 95 of his children memorized the Quran, 360 out of 4006 grandchildren memorized the Quran, and 12 great-grandchildren memorized the Quran 


He performed Hajj fifty times and something, and performed Umrah two hundred and something. He spread Islam throughout the country and the Tijaniyya brotherhood.
