Their farms on Saturday evening. The Police Public Relations Officer, Nahum Daso, confirmed the incident to Eagle on Sunday.


Daso stated that the Command has initiated an investigation into the matter. He said, “There was an abduction yesterday involving 12 women who were returning from their farms in Askira-Uba, carried out by suspected Boko Haram members. 


“The details are still unclear, but efforts are being made,” the PPRO added. This abduction marks the latest in a series of assaults by armed groups in various northern states.
