The upcoming roundtable aims to collect important testimonies that will contribute to a detailed report commissioned by President Trump regarding the killings of Nigerian Christians.


On Tuesday, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee and the Financial Services Committee will hold a joint b toriefing with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom to highlight the issues surrounding the alleged genocide of Christians in Nigeria.


Tom Cole, the chairman of the committee, stated that Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee, Mario Díaz-Balart, along with other committee members, will meet with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and various experts to address the increasing violence and targeted persecution of Christians in Nigeria.


The statement also mentioned that the roundtable will collect essential testimonies to aid in creating a comprehensive report directed by President Trump, focusing on the massacre of Nigerian Christians and the actions Congress can take to assist the White House in protecting vulnerable religious communities globally.
